The "Rheinmetall Technology Management online Platform" is conceptually the central platform of the Rheinmetall Group for cross Divisional Technology sharing, discovery and impulses.
ITONICS has a role and permission concept that allows for controlled sharing and internal collaboration with specific user groups, divisions or individuals. Typical tools include Trend & Technology Management, weak signal scanning, Innovation Roadmapping & Portfolio Management, Strategic Planning & Foresight as well as Collaborative Idea Management. Use is not limited to Divisional content but also Business Unit specific content can be managed by the author.
As a user, I am granted access to the RTM online platform ITONICS of Rheinmetall AG and its affiliated companies for the purpose of cooperation, in particular for the Technology-related exchange of data and information, and I agree to the following terms of use in connection with the use of the ITONICS :
(1) I will process protected personal data exclusively within the scope of the purpose pertaining to the respective task fulfillment and will not otherwise disclose, make accessible to third parties or otherwise use this data without corresponding authorization. This obligation to maintain data secrecy shall continue to apply even after the use of ITONICS has ended or after my employment with / cooperation with Rheinmetall has ended. The necessary care must be taken to protect personal data when using ITONICS; any deficiencies or breaches of data secrecy that are discovered must be reported.
Violations can be punished with fines or imprisonment according to Art. 82 and Art. 83 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) as well as Sec. 43 of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and other relevant legal provisions.
(2) The applicable regulations concerning the handling or securing of personal data must be observed. Please note that all information stored in ITONICS can be viewed and used by authorized users. Supplementary information on the processing of personal data can be found in the data protection information on ITONICS .
(3) Furthermore, I undertake to comply with all existing laws and regulations as well as internal guidelines which must be observed in connection with the use of ITONICS of Rheinmetall AG and its affiliated companies, i.e. specifically, for example, the observance of foreign trade law with regard to the export of software and technology abroad or import from abroad to Germany. In particular, it is prohibited to use ITONICS to store, display or send information requiring approval (i.e. technology and software that may not be exported or transferred abroad or imported there without government approval), this applies both to information requiring approval under German law and under the law of other countries, e.g. US ITAR technology.
(4) As a user of ITONICS, I will also secure the IT hardware and terminal devices via which I access ITONICS against unauthorized access by third parties, unauthorized transmission of information or other misuse, loss of input and output data, unauthorized changes to data, importing of malicious programs (including viruses, Trojans, malware, etc.), delays in the transmission of messages and destruction of electronic information in accordance with the respective state of the art. I will also ensure that passwords or other access identifiers that may be required for the use of ITONICS are carefully assigned, stored and kept secret to prevent misuse. In particular, password-protected applications must always be closed before leaving the screen.
(5) The storage and processing of officially classified information as well as excerpts from official classified information, including the classification "classified information for official use only" (i.e. VS-NfD), is not permitted in ITONICS. Other confidentiality obligations are not affected by this obligation.
(6) Furthermore, I undertake not to store or express any right-wing extremist, sexist or other discriminatory or criminally relevant content in any form or manner in ITONICS. The use of ITONICS is purely for business purposes and I undertake not to exchange or store any private documents, information or other private data via ITONICS.
(7) The information stored in ITONICS or resulting from its use may expressly not be used to monitor the performance or behavior of users.
(8) Without prejudice to the rights of third parties and the property of third parties, ownership and all rights of use of the information and data stored in ITONICS shall remain exclusively with Rheinmetall AG and/or its affiliated companies or, if neither Rheinmetall AG nor its affiliated companies is the rights holder, with the respective owner or rights holder.
(9) I undertake to treat the information received from other ITONICS users as confidential and to protect it with the same care with which I protect my own or third party business and trade secrets, but at least with the care of a prudent businessman.
(10) The law of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply. The place of jurisdiction is Düsseldorf.
(11) Rheinmetall AG reserves the right to make unilateral changes to these terms of use. Any amended terms of use will be announced at the beginning of a new access to ITONICS.
